I have been plagued with my fair share of set-backs for sure. But then you are correct in your point about the nature of the beast
I have sourced a new prototype oil pump but have yet to test it.... I made the mistake of posting it on here before the thing had been tested and then the engine went bang.
I have now invested £8000 odd on the engine mods and it hurts when things go wrong. Hopefully this time it will last longer than 15mins Shocked

you have a great attitude towards it all i really like that Smile

i see you use ctm back in my r5 gt turbo owning days they used to build some fantastic engines and still do i know david clark was running a ctm engine last season.

out of interest how much does he charge for a ported head on the gti? inbox me if you prefer?

I cant remember how much he charged me as I had so much done at once... I know he is very reasonable with his pricing and has a good pedigree. I know Burtons still use him for headwork. I am a little unsure why he has gone for bigger inlet and exhaust valves this time as I thought the exhaust valves were big enough already..... but hey its his name on my engine and we did win the 2013 championship Wink
