Could it be coolant sensor because i only have to drive for short distance say 100metres and temp gauge reads 70 degrees

I wouldnt have thought the coolant sensor would cause a missfire though, when the engine is warm, if you turn the engine off and then try to restart it, does it struggle to start from warm?

Not if you start it straight away if you leave it ten minutes yes it does struggle to start

Could have a coolant sensor issue.

Have you had the fault codes read?
What fault codes displayed?

Just changed coolant sensor this morning along with oil plus filters
