Yes, It's faster for me this way as I can take the bottom out keeping the heat shields in place, taking the complete system off to fit the pipe is a lot harder.
Yes, I delete the temperature sensor, pressure sensor and additive system from the ECU and disable the parameters that could cause regeneration or any DPF functions.
