The previous owner of the car must have smoked alot as the car is stinking of cigarettes a good air freshener got rid of most of the smells but when i turn the heater on it comes through the vents and it's starting to get worse. My plan is to spary some deodorizer down by the vents it takes the air from in the recalculation setting but i can't find them for the life of me and google didn't help much

The air freshener will only mask the smell short term. Get some charcoal in a bowl and leave it in the car for a few days, should help a lot more then an air freshener.
May be worth checking the condition on the pollen filter to.

Drivers side. Look under dash by pedals and move the slider for recirculation and you'll see the flap moving. You need to look up the dash as its right near the top towards the windscreen but you can see it.

It does yes, baking soda also works but can be a little messy to clear up in a car, just google either and your see plenty of people vouch for the method.

waste of time .. unless you pulling or pushing the air throu the charcoal .
( so its filtered otherwise wont remove the smell )

yes charcoal does work when used correctly .

Not true, natural ventilation is enough to remove the bad smell from any car, or buoyancy-driven ventilation if you want to get technical about it. Now unless you would like a lesson in science stick to spraying your pollen filter with febreze Whistle...

Where are the buy now charcoal car air filters ?

( Removes bad smells just leave it the natural ventilation zone .)

so ive read . Bag of coal in the boot at all times !!

No coals is removing a bad smell from a seat or car .

It only purifies the air + smell by neutralizing - &+ irons in the air ..

its not rocket science !
