Hi, everyone.
I just got myself a 2004 206, this is my first peugeot so I'm really excited.
It's the 1.1L variant, the current mileage is 76100KM, the timing belt was changed 3 years ago at 25000KM, it seems like a nice vehicle and I couldn't see anything out of place, except the steering wheel which is hard to turn at lower speed, but I don't know if it's common in older cars.
I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but is there anything else that is worth checking? I don't have that much experience with cars and would love to get some directions
P.s. I don't know if it matters, but I live in Norway.

Even with power assistance the 206 steering is slightly heavier then other makes of car of a similar age.
Just make sure the tyre pressures are correct, get the steering / suspension geometry checked / adjusted & also that the power steering fluid is at the correct level.
Tyre pressures & fluid level you can check yourself, the geometry check will be a visit to you friendly local tyre place as they should have wheel alignment equipment.
Its possible to bend a steering track rod if it's suffered impact damage, once its up on the ramp they will soon spot if anything is damaged / in need of replacement.

Remember its a 10 year old car now so some parts maybe worn / in need of replacement.

38/36psi i run in front & 28/32 in the rear .
38 -30 psi . ( no seats in rear ) ON 17 40 205 ive found to be best for me .. . ran high psi in 15` to stop the wall flex . ON 15 50 195 . RAN 40 PSI & 36 . .
Any less psi & i find the steering input heavy & i feel the flex too much . Too slow to give me feed back . Turn in & grip ..
