So for the past few weeks the car didn't feel as quick as it used to i thought it was just because i was getting used to the power but turns out it isn't, last night i was struggling past the 105 mark and later that night i was cruising along at 60 and a mate with a 1.2 clio (old shape) decided he wanted to overtake me so as usual i put the foot down and i would usually leave him but not this time he actually got past. a friend pointed out it shoots black smoke but very rarely mostly under full throttle or when it revved a little when its cold. The car did have a boost leak after about a week of owning it but unless it has got majorly worse im ruling that out for the extra loss in power car also need the crankshaft pulley done but the mechanic i went to see said he wouldn't bother fixing it till it gets worse

Fix the boost leak, as black smoke is normally overfueling for dervs. Less air means richer mix, also check you vacuum lines to the turbo and for P codes aswell
