Hello everyone, newbie here. American in Italy... got what we would call an econobox (maybe you guys do too), a 2003 206 2.0 HDI. I'm in the process of making it acceptable/presentable. Have color coded the exterior black trim and handles. After i cut, buff, and detail the car, I'll post some pics in the appropriate section of the forum.
On topic - the first thing i noticed during my first ride in the car was how far I need to throw the gear stick to change gears.
After a few hours of looking around I've found three different methods to shorten the shift. Here's what I've found...
Griffith Quick Shift
Chinese quick shift 1
Chinese quick shift 2
Can anyone share some knowledge on these quick shift solutions? Will they all fit my 2.0 HDI? Which do you think is the best one? Do you know of any other solutions around the same price range?
edit: fixed images, I think.
