Hi all been away from the site for a long time since getting rid of my 307. The wife has a 206 1.4 HDI and I drove it yesterday night and noticed there was hardly any power, now I know it's only a 1.4 but so was my 307 and it's bigger but that had more power then this 206. It's struggles to get to 70mph no eml light on any thoughts what this could be?

Check the cat/filter ... mine collapsed and blocked the exhaust ... goes quicker now as I removed said cat with a large steel bar and hammer!

I had to take the cat section out of the exhaust .. but then it was obvious.

If you remove the heatshield you might be able to knock it hard enough to make the cat wobble and bounce around, but it's well steadied with bolts to engine.

It shouldn't take to much to remove ... I only lost a small amount of skin and blood! Smile

Decided to take the cat off its not blocked because there is nothing inside it lol. Pulled the plug on the mass air flow and it seems to have power again, so I'll be ordering a new maf tomorrow.

well it worth checking the turbo, take the hose off,and move the shaft,to see if you got a broken turbo shaft or not, also it worth checking the fuel filter brand,as some rubbish brands make such a problem.

Well I unpluged the maf and it's sorted the problem so I'll try a new one first then I'll do a service and change the fuel filter as well
