Hello,
Any info or tips on removing an engine would be very helpful as I'm doing it this weekend.
Anyone got pictures of them doing this in a project thread?

Go underneath. Disconnect the engine mount between the sump and subframe. unclip power steering hoses from the engine. Undo the 16mm bolt which holds the gear linkage onto the subframe behind the engine. Those are the main hidden connections. The others are the obvious stuff like the coolant hoses and throttle cable. What you going to do with the air con hoses?

That and will you disconnect or cut the pipes? Or just unbolt the pump from the engine. Accessing the exhaust clamp or manifold can be difficult.

Didn't really think about the air con. If I can just unbolt it from engine and not touch the pipes ill do that. As he's breaking the car hopefully he won't mind me taking lots of it apart to access what I need to.
