if i remember last time i went to pod, the area for clubs was on hardstanding and it was massive, but i could be wrong

I think you could be right there is a hell of a lot of hard stand round where the pits are

That's not alway's the case i think it also depend's how many car's are on your stand weather you get hardstanding or the grass 
Last time i went to Santa Pod with PVS in my corsa the stand i was on over the back on the grass and was not good with all that rain ........ yep you guessed it i got stuck
But from going to Fast Show last year with a ex on the stand he was on we were on the hardstanding and so were most of the other stand's 
word of warning tho warap up warm because when the wind start's it gets bloody cold
