I fitted a new set of gear linkages and quick shift kit from Pug1off today, it fitted OK but I can no longer get the car into reverse gear
I think I am going to have to lengthen the throw to allow for the additional length of reverse gear - such a shame because the length feels really good now.
The only other warning to people installing this mod is that the position of neutral is substantially changed. Effectively 1,3 and 5 are where neutral was and 2,4 and (i expect R) are in about the same place. This makes the gear stick look a bit odd.

I think you may have fitted the wrong size rods to the wrong pivot points. It shouldn't make any difference to how the gear stick sits just 'feels' a better shift.

I'm not sure how it could be fitted incorrectly. :-S
The kit consists of 2 identical short rods which replace identical length short rods; one long rod, identical in length to the existing long rod and then an extension piece which effectively lengthens the long rod.
The increase in length of the long rod will surely mean the gearstick is in a different position for the same gearbox rod position. Right?
I am going to swivel the extension bar to shorten the lod. I a, hoping that will help

I've managed to recover reverse by releasing the grub screw and turning the shift adapter to slightly lengthen the throw.
It's worth noting that I have had no response at all from Pug1Off though.
