I have a 206 1.4 lx 51 plate.
From what I have been told by 3 mechanics my cylinder lining for cylinder 1 has split as there is about 2/3mm movement in it and my water is getting in to my oil and cylinder.
Does everything else think that is my issue. Advice would be appreciated. I thought it was my head gasket but it looks fine.
But if it is my lining then how is my water getting in to the oil as well as the cylinder.

Now the other issue I have or think I have is. Is it hard to fine my engine. It's got a 3 plug ecu, grey plug on the coil pack and a plastic/ paper oil filter. ( all the things I have been told to look for when buying an engine)

The amount of different Peugeot / Citroen products the TU3 engine was fitted to, you shouldn't have any problem finding a matching replacement unit.

Bloke at the garage I use has a good TU3 unit in storage in case either the 206 or 306 he has in his family decide to let go - NO he isn't selling it.

Toyota C-HR GR Sport 2.0 Hybrid with JBL & Alcantara packs.

you shouldn't have a problem finding one mate at worst there around £150 tops on ebay.

just depends wether or not you would do it yourself?

shouldn't take more than a day if your quite competant but expect to pay if you want a garage to do it
