As above has anyone tried ?

I've read about the gti 135 & 18bhp gains once the inlet is fitted..

Would the 2.2 throttle bodie work & all pipes there to join on??
Just an idea atm. Along with the 4-1 I fitted on gti if i fit that to the 180 might make a few more gains ..

There's no much I can do without spending £££

If it aint broke dont fix it !

It's got a longer flow so with a 4-1 exhaust manifold it would give me better flow rates=bhp even if it gained 2 bhp it's a gain..

Would the Tb work off the ecu I'm guessing yes..
what's the compatability of the pipes ect with the ew12 /ew10j4s
?

Try it then. As it's designed for a bigger car and taller block it will hit the oil filter housing and the radiator.

lol hey I also have one for sale on eBay atm, I don't think it's worth it thou. The Rad gets in the way, the throttle body wouldn't work with the 180 Ecu, could be that it just was not working when I bought it. also the diameter of the throttle body is smaller in width compared to the 180's

Does the 180 throttle body fit the manifold ?
Did you have any troubles with oil filter housing? .

needs an adapter plate made, wont bolt straight on. it WILL foul against the oil filter housing unless you cut some material off

Black 206 Gti. Soon to be 2.2

Go for the one that fits. ..

Edward do u think stock intake will be enough for 170-180 maybe 190 BHP ? I have pipercross panel filter and modified intake according to this guide 206gti.net/intakemod/
But XU10j4rs TB is way bigger than stock so maybe i should buy big filter and make CAI ? Maybe Simota airbox or pipercross ?

I would imagine if the original plastic manifold was good enough for 180 bhp Peugeot would have used if for the gti 180.

Im using ew12j4 manifold not GTI 138. My question refers to intake. Is stock intake ( plastic box with pipercross panel filter) enough for 170-180 BHP ? Or maybe should i use big filter inside that box and make something like that
