I have tried searching and not sure if this is possible, I own a v plate 206 Gl and the back axle has gone. I need to replace my friend has a 53 plate 1.4 206.
I have searched forums about converting drums to discs, which seems like a lot of replacement parts, for ease I am happy just keep drums. but is it easier (can it be done) put my drums on the rear axle of the newer model car, not fussed about having discs all round. And will back axel fit
Thanks in advance for help

Hi! What's Gl?
If you have ABS, you should source axle from similar year, so sensors match up (as pro_steve told me). Otherwise you'll have permanent fault and light on dash.
Surely if you manage to keep your ABS sensors (i.e. knock them seized ones out undamaged), socket should match.
