I have posted before about lumpy idle...and that problem has more or less gone. But now I have another problem developing. When at low revs...warmed up or cold..say pulling away from lights, the car judders, like it has the wrong fuel, then rectifies itself. I have looked after the car and have kept up with servicing. Timing belt/water pump changed at 140000 miles, oil and filter changed four months ago, new discs, pads and brake fluid changed last month, and all new Bridgestone tyres. On the motorway it is as smooth as butter and very very economical. I had it scanned today, no codes. They took the plugs out all are in perfect condition. They were changed last November. Coil pack is only six months old and I tried a second hand one to. Oh I have also changed and cleaned the throttle body, ICV, O2 sensor and the MAF sensor over the last year. Any ideas? I'm stumped!

Interesting....I have not come across this before. It is the original clutch and is fine changing up and down.

Defo not the clutch...just drove home from work and it was a nightmare. Even in 5th gear it was juddering...had to knock in into 4th to rev it, then back into 5th. Its like it isn't getting the right amount of fuel...injectors? But then again, wouldn't a dodgy injector foul up a plug?

I did have a similar problem with mine. Tho mine is 1.4 hdi. Turned out the gearbox was on its way out. Use to make a screech noise on pulling away in 1st and reverse. And driving along it would start to judder as if it was going to cut out. Worse going up hill. I thought it was fuel related at first until a loud banging started.

God I hope its not the gearbox...I'm as poor as a mouse at the moment! I just did a BSI reset and put a different coilpack in...took it for a short spin and no juddering....lets see how it goes on a long run later.
