My daughter owns a peugeot 206 hatchback its a 1.4i and 2001 but every time I try to get bits on ebay I have to tell a porky and say its a 2000 because the only variants I get are the diesel 1.4HDi anyone know why??
Also the little torque link on the gear selector linkages popped off, its so loose I want to obtain the whole set but again one is available at ebay but only seems to fit the ruddy HDi's Grrrrrr Evil or Very Mad

Phone a dealer and ask (you may find the parts are cheaper from them anyway!) or look it up on servicebox ... public.servicebox.peug.../index.jsp ... create yourself an account

I've just looked at the parts for a 1.4i 75 bhp and compared to my 1.4HDi and the gear change parts appear to be the same ... but there are three 1.4i versions under 3-door: TU3A, TU3JP and the 16v Twincam engine, and change to the five door and it is added to by the TU3AF version ...

But actually all 1.4s seem to use the same gear change components ...

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
