Replace the fired airbags, the fired seatbelt pretensioners & the fired airbag ecu.

Warning lights & message will then go out after a successful self test of the SRS system at start up.

If the after-market wheel can't take the driver's airbag you'll have more airbag light problems. Not sure how that impacts on mot but you'll have to tell insurance co.

Replace the blown airbags.

Replace the fired front seatbelt pretensioners.

Replace the fired airbag ecu.

Job done.

FYI: Multiplexed 206 take more then a light collision to fire the front airbags.

You had 2 threads open with the same topic, in fact the same post just copied and pasted, so you were getting the same answers split between both,
Better just to have one thread for a fault that way you don't miss anything and people aren't repeating themselves.

hi , looking to upgrade my seats now , this will now bring up the air bag fault again as the seats have air bags , can i get round this by using a airbag ecu from a model with just driver and passenger air bag , if so what would be the relevant model number id be looking for.
