Hi
Got a hissing noise from the passenger side of the car.....appears to be constant. It only stops when breaking but stays on afterwards. Brakes works ok. I think the brake servo is leaking.
Is it a easy one to change/swap over?.....any issues with brake fluids pipes etc?.....more importantly, safe to drive until replacement?
Thanks in advance.

Trig, Before going for a servo change, check any associated vacuum hoses/pipes going to it. If rubber, they can perish, also metal ones can be damaged aswell. I cannot remember the exact configuration but best to open the bonnet whilst the noise is apparent and try to follow the source of the hiss. If you can find the general area, then you can define the spot with some flexible tubing, one end in your ear and the other probing the hiss area.
Best of luck.
Richard
