ok so i have bought a 206 project, during a test drive,i experienced the rear end going into a corner was wobbling severely all over the place,i havnt had a chance to look as yet.......i suspect rear bushes? im sure somebody will have more knowledge on this, wheels dont seem to wobble, but the whole rear end seems to sway about........

suggestions and comments welcome...

many thanks,

Roy.

Oh great :/ its quite dangerous you try to turn in smoothly and if youve no idea how to handle at car you could very easily loose control!

Can i repair it with bushes? Or just as cost effective to find another beam?

Thanks for taking time to reply!

So where would be the best place youd recommend online to look for a replacement?

I tried replacing the trailing arm bearings in mine but was a bit of a faff on so I got a replacement refurbished beam (drum brakes) from euro car parts for about 200 quid and lasted me a year on my old 206 without any problems. I would use them again when i get round to doing my gti's axle Very Happy
