Hi. My brother bought a 206 recently. Its the one with the electric roof.
See pic here for tipex writing on engine. I assume the "claim" is that the following was done at 60k miles...
TBK = timing belt kit
PF = power fluid as in power steering fluid
water pump replaced
but what does WLW mean?
Bought in rep. of ireland if that matters!
Thanks.

Why not ask who you got it from?

Hi. We're unable to contact the people he brought it from. Its not a big deal, I'm just wondering if there's a common set of acronyms that mechanics use. I checked online but found nothing....

TBK = Totaly Bl**dy Knakered.
PF = P**sing Fluid.
WLW = Would Leave Wellalone.

Hope not! Seems kinda strange to take the time to tipex something no other mechanic will understand tho....

It looks like the kind of code a scrap yard would use to identify the engine after they have ripped it out of a car.

Hi, yes, my mistake, a 206cc (pug?). Local mechanic had a look and is also mystified by WLW.

PF could be Pollen Filter rather than Power Fluid.
Can't help with WLW though
