hi I have a Peugeot 206 1.4 2003 when I start the car the temp sensor is reading 100 and the stop sign flashing and the fan is on also eml light is on the heaters are blowing hot air can any one shed some light on this

Coolant temp sensor would be worth investigating.

thanks pavax for the image right I have changed the coolant sensor and there still no change when start car from cold engine temp shows 100 also the oil light is flickering on to and the oil I have checked is full

I would look for either a bad ground, or a break in your thermistor wiring (wiring from the thermistor to the ECU). Get up a multimeter, follow the 3-minute rule when disconnecting the battery, and start measuring up wires to see where it's fishy.

You can also try to disconnect the sensor altogether and see which reading you then get.
