Hi guys, pug 206 GTI 138 year 2000.

Had the car running at idle today whilst parked, had bonnet up and was just poking around the engine. After a while the engine temp gauge (under the rev counter. Assuming the other temp gauge to the far right is the oil temp) rose just above 90. The radiator fan still hadn't kicked it. Is this normal?

Cheers

Unplug the coolant sensor. If the fan stays off you have a problem. It's more likely to be the wiring to the relays.

Just remind we where the coolant sensor is? It's a green plug right?
