hi all i got a new key fob and in the process of changing it over misplaced the chip so had to get my key re coded which worked on getting the car started since ive had this done my instrument panel warning sign are lit up and the stop sign flashing the speedo is not working and the milage counter not working. all other instruments are working have been in touch with the people who done the key code and they say it is nothing to do with them but everything was ok before the key was recoded. any advice would be greatly appreciated

That is why I made this thread so that no one do this mistake again Read-Important about replacing Key Fob

But since you already lost the chip,and done the code,I say that you have a problem with the chip that have the code,I would say a poor job done by the guy who done it.

You can have the car checked with diagnostic tool such as PP2000 ,and see what the Immbo. status and other faults.
