OK. So...the backlight on the clock/radio multifunction display had two blown bulbs. So I bought 3 new ones. 1.2 watt...12v. All good so far.
I replaced all three. Now none of them work. The display still shows the time and date....but it has no back light. I have checked both f4 and f15 fuses. Both not blown. Everything else in the car is fine. I used a meter to check the bulbs were houses correctly in the holders. Thanks in advance

Did you put the bulbs in when the power was on? I found that blows bulbs.

Is it possible you've broken the track connector to the bulbs? The soldering is very flimsy, and is a Common problem with the MFD.

I've got a PPT30 that's open and I can show you what I mean.

Will I would say that you didn't fit the bulb holder in it's correct position to make a good contact with the circuit board.

It is none of the above things. Sorry so long to reply. I didn't get notification of replies. All soldering is fine....as tested with a meter for continuity. I also connected the bare bulb board directly to a 12v supply in my workshop. The bulbs all lit up. So..the bulbs are connected correctly.

You using bulbs or LED's? LED's only work in one way (polarity specific)
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
