Hi all
Just bought a little runabout for the daughter and the central locking is not working - no clicks from anywhere and no action from the remote button or key in lock - any ideas Confused

There is an issue with the passenger door showing open on the display when it is locked - unlock it and it goes away could that be the issue or just another fault that needs fixing?

Thanks all

Simon

Fix the passenger door lock issue.

There is a switch built in to the door latch that tells the system if the door is open / ajar / shut.

There are two different types of central locking latches used on 206 depending on age / spec, normal central locking type OR deadlocking type - you need to fit the correct type for your 206 else the central locking won't work.

Best advise would be look on Peugeot Service Box with the VIN.

I can have a look for you if you want to PM the VIN over.

Hi MrBSI
Thanks for the offer - already have the p/n as used to have a 406 a few years back so already have service box Wink
I’ll change out the lock and see what that does
Thanks
Simon
