Hi Guys,
Newbies 1st post, please be gentle...

Have just done an engine swap and head overhaul on my Gti 180 trackcar here in Aus. It's been a few months since I took the old one out and now I have one last connector that I can't find a home for and it's driving me crackers.

It's a 2 pin connector with a little wire retainer so that means it should go onto a solid point, not join to another loose wire. I labelled it 'under manifold' when I took it off but I cannot find where to reconnect it.

It's on the same part of the loom that goes to the power steering pump and aircon compressor. It's not the knock sensor, and it's not on the throttle body where the other 3 connectors go. I've looked everywhere around that area and spent a couple of hours searching the net and looking at the wiring diagrams but to no avail.

Can somebody please put me out of my misery???

Also known as a Junior Power Timer plug. It's not the oil pressure sensor plug is It? Mine doesn't have that plug but things could change.

Is it for the horn?

Can you see any codes printed on the wires? The wire code would give a clue where it connects to.

Thanks Guys. Found it! There's an inline air flow sensor in the pipe that runs under the manifold, must have look at it 20 times and finally spotted it!
