Hello everyone
I've been struggling with the p1518 error for about a year. The car shows no symptoms (no check engine, has power). So far, the throttle, ECU harness and the pressure sensor in the intake manifold have been checked. Should I check anything else. All tips are appreciated

This TU5JP4 engine runs a Bosch ME 7.4.4 management system.
One odd quirk about this ME 7.4.4 management system when fitted to PSA Peugeot / Citroen vehicles is P1518 is classed as a manufacturer specific code which unless you use Peugeot Planet / Citroen Lexia to read the fault codes you wouldnt know the actual fault.
On this ME 7.4.4 system its actually the fault code for the brake light switch.
Its amazing how many people this fault code catches out with ME 7.4.4 when using a generic OBD code reader.

I used PP2000 (that one in diagbox) and next to error code it said: Brak referencji w serwisie posprzedażnym (EN: No reference in after-sales service).

There you go then - its telling you BRAKE REFERENCE - replace the brake light switch with a genuine part.
There are 2 circuit channels on the brake switch, 1 channel for the brake lights, the 2nd channel tells the engine ecu if the brake pedal is pressed.
