Maybe a silly quesion,

But ive recently upgraded from a 138 to a 180 Very Happy

It seems when I brake hard in the 180, the hazard come on, and I have to switch them off manually, and i find this annoying.

I'll be putting my brembo calipers on the 180 over the weekend, and I shall be doing some even heavier braking.

Is there anything I can do to stop the hazard coming on after braking hard?

brake earlier and softer? saves you going through your brakes so quick too

i believe its a safety feature to warn other drivers than your choosing to brake late so they dont end up parking their car in your boot

Don't turn off safety features - it's daft Smile It's only happened once to me when a woman pulled out onto a road. It felt worse than an emergency stop and she got a crazy beep of the horn and daggers for as long as i could see her.

indeed to be fair turning them off isnt wise as brian said.

would you rather have your hazards flash for a min and annoy you

or

have an old lady hit you ni the back not knowing that you were braking that hard?

i no what i would prefer

The 180 is becoming the car of choice for boyracers these days

oh well, there'll be less 180's in a few years when they smash them up.
Then values will go up again Laughing

Not so sure on that, seen what happened to the Saxos? Don't see many of them going back up in value!

Or the Type R's for that fact.
