A sad moment for myself Sad

As of 10 ish tomorrow morning I am no longer a 206 owner. As some of you may know, I was planning to trade in the 206 anyway but then fell in love with it again, found an oil leak yesterday, took it to stealership (under warranty) the head gasket is gone and is not covered by the warranty so with many hours of shouting at peugeot managers they have agreed that tomorrow I shall be given a cheque for £1500. The money back from what I paid for my 206 just this time 1 month ago. They said they will just scrap the 206 :(:( soooo so so sad, everything works perfectly on it just the head gasket is on its way out. As a result I am heading down to yeovil tomorrow afternoon to get myself a cracking 306 HDi thats up for grabs. This will probaly be the last ever post I make as a proud 206 owner Sad

I agree. Very good luck with the 306 HDI.

I had one of those, nice car, very comfortable on our pothole roads etc.

But finally scrapped it when the head gasket went !

If you have any Peugeot then head gaskets are like brake pad and clutches, they're consumables. Sad

As for your 206, what the seller means is that it will have some K-Seal put in the radiator and then they'll send it to the auction and recoup what they can from an unsuspecting buyer !
