So one of my rear calipers is playing up (Bosch)
So I bought a pair off of ebay which came from a GTi axle, but one is Bendix and one is Bosch. The Bosch one has a Bendix pad holder (bit with the two bolts on which keep the pads in place) which is odd.
Looking at each of them, they look identical apart from the handbrake hooks which are a slightly different design.
So the main question here (and probably a silly one) can I use the one bendix and one Bosch on the car.
Might see if I can use the parts if not.

Is it the handbrake lever that looks different? The more rounded one comes from the later cars. Other than that if the piston is the same size then I can't see there being a problem.

Yeah you've got it Edward, the rounded one is a Bosch (2002 and later I presume) and the other has the different handbrake end (earlier I presume).
Can I wind the screw section of the piston off to check the sizes?

You'll be able to just measure the diameter can't you?

Of the actual piston section with the 4 notches? Each measure 30mm diameter.
