I had cold feed in bumper into standard airbox with k&n replacment pannel.

seemed ok, not too much diffrence but was a 1,4 8v, lot smoother thorttle. and better than and induction kit as i seemed to get a lot of heat soak when had an induction kit.
had no problems with water etc too,

alright mate, im in the process of doing mine at the moment, both fogs however, what ive done is designed the piping with almost a sink like appearance with the swan neck in it, this meaning any debris which get in will be gatherd her, its a small section and is on butterfly clips so it can be removed and emptied if needed, tight meshing over the fogs also helps prevent this, the water also will gather in the u-bend and as i have puntured a hole in the bottom it will empty out through it on its own, the hole will reduce the pressure and efficiency slightly but i cant forsee any problems occuring with my design, i have even brought the piping together in a t-junction style fitting around the top of the rad to prevent any heat getting on it and plan to sleeve it in a protective material, other than a bad cough of all the fiberglassing it should be sound (:

to create something similar to that peugeot sport intake which t1mmy posted up, could you use a funnel like the ones used for petrol and similar? i think that could work?
