hi guys.
big confusion.
just been on the fone 2 my mechnic/modifier about lowering the rear of my 206 and asked him how to go about it and he said buy 2 front springs as the rear is controlled by axle and the torsion bar needs lowering, no rear springs but i know a few lads that have their rear of a 206 lowered by just springs, what do i do??

Dude i know where your coming from, i was exactly the same, i was under the impression that i had springs all round. Had a bit of a browse on here, asked some questions the same as you and was told the same thing as your being told now.
Dont ever doubt the info that everyone on here tells you, people on here are proper clue'd up on stuff. I listened to them, bought some Eibach front springs off a guy on here, slapped em on the front, investigated the rear and them followed this ....clicky and my car is now nice and low

Adjust the torsion bar to lower the rear ( www.206info.co.uk/Foru...t=100.html ) and buy some front springs (and dampers if you don't want your current ones to break) to lower the front.

If you adjust the torsion bar and don't change the springs your car will look stupid and look like it's sitting on it's a**e!
When you do the lowering just make sure its even all round, and don't go to low that your wheels scrub
Easy as pie!

do not forget to get new rear shocks as well that lower height will make them buckle with the extra strain, 30-40 rear is nice front go 10mm lower to keep the nose down look.. tis the sex

spax does a lowering kit ride height adjustable and non adjustable, kit includes front springs, front structs and rear shocks all in, it is sugguested you still get eibach front springs as the spax springs say 40 drop and to me it looks like a 30mm drop i think any lower and the speed bumps would rip my bumper off
