They're expencive to run, they go wrong quite often, they do things that only french cars do like create rattles and knocks and then just as quickly as they started they dissapear again,l they dont hold value, stupid things break on them for no real reason, people may want different things from their car that a 206 cant provide, peoples car budget may have gone up so they can go on to better things but basicly people get rid of them because they are crap...but we still love them

I've just had a wage rise and promotion and was thinking of coming back and buying a 180. Not so sure now; your all depressing me!

I had a fair few issues with my 206, but I fixed them all and it ran great.
I had more money and wanted to move onto something that was much quicker and that I could still tinker about on, with ease!
So I sold the 206 and got the VX!

i moved on because i fancied a change! new job, getting more money so i could afford it, it was just begging me to buy it! it had only just came in... lol.
but TBH. the 206 is what, 11/12 years old now? although they are still a very nice looking car and still popular, they're getting old, problems are developing on them due to age/milage so people are moving on. they're a good first/second car and cheap run arounds (ish).
i loved my 206, sometimes i wish i still had it as i see it everyday . but after testing the 207, it felt so cheap and tacky! my sister has just got a 206, and sometimes when i'm in it, i wonder how i managed! lol

I still think the 180 is a great car;
-Relatively quick
-Still looks modern
-Can return a decent mpg for the power
-Nice cabin
-Good safety features

Because 206s are good for the following age brackets:
17-21
65-dead
And the build quality is crap. Just slam the door of a 206, and then an audi and listen to the difference...

Bugger, I'm a couple of years late.
Does anyone else find that choosing a new car isn't easy? I'm finding it tough on what to get next - new cars at the moment I think look dull.

Im finding it hard to find a new car simply because of the amount of good cars out there for decent money, not a fan of many newer cars though as you say they are a little dull
