Hi All,
I picked up my 2001 2.0 HDi on Tuesday and had to spend 3 full days cleaning the thing. It wasn't the best kept car, but under the muck it wasn't too bad at all. The boot and roof may need sorting at some point though. The roof looks like it has maybe 50-100 stone chips on it somehow, whereas the bonnet is quite clean in comparison. Not sure how...! The boot has a couple of dents with chipped paint I'll get sorted in due time. I was going to get it sorted fairly soon, but the insurance cost me £250 more than I had expected once they put all their "add-ons" on like windscreen cover etc so I'm having to wait. We're in the process of starting up a stringed instrument business, so funds are limited!!
Mods will be very limited and subtle, but once the money starts coming in I'd like to lower the front, maybe colour code, maybe ph2 headlights and bootstrip, and audio. I've only got amped alpine co-axials + Fli sub in there at the moment, but I'm hoping for some componants soon. One of my lovely Diamond co-axials kinda bit the dust and I finished it off trying to repair it, so I'm back to the old Alpine Type E's now for a while :/
