Hi there I have just bought a 52 reg 206 1.4 Hdi and am still learning about its features.
In my handbook there is a page (155) which is titled "Technical Data" and shows a diagram giving various locations of serial numbers etc.
In my case paragraph "E" says "Fuel consumption* in the corner of the windscreen" and then states "*According to destination"
When I look at the car on the outside drivers side bottom of the windscreen I see two lines one above the other with a dot on each one, I cant find any further reference to them anywhere else in the handbook.
Does anyone know what these lines mean or how they are supposed to work?

Many thanks

Just tried taking some photos but not possible to get a clear image due to reflection on the windscreen and the fact that the lines are relatively faint.

I think those lines/dots are for the windscreen wiper alignment

If you read the handbook (i dont know, never read one), it probably says some s**t about aerodynamics adding 10mpg to the car or some bollox like that Laughing

Be a normal person and just drive the car, dont be a a**e reading instruction books Laughing

Well you know I gotta friend with a golf turbo diesel that thinks he knows it all and never looks at his handbook, he over filled the sump with the wrong oil, blew the engine and totalled the turbo. Cost him nearly £2000 and was without a car for 4 weeks.

Thats a bit ironic considering you had a signature in the past that said "read the manual"! Laughing

I wonder why I bother with this place, 4 years and all members do is slag each other off. Even Barry Boys seems a nicer place at times...
