If i take some bits to the body shop to paint will they look exactly the same as my original paint or slightly darker. Only when i resprayed my handles with the same paint colour it came out a bit darker. Is this due to the original paint being 10 yrs old or the way i sprayed?

Just want the car to look as clean as poss' Smile

A good body shop will match the paint on the 'bits', so that'll take into account any fading.

Give your car a good machine polish after to fetch the original colour near enough back up. We did a 20 year old red corsa the other day, and all the parts looked near enough the same colour.

UV will slowly deteriorate your paint, so a paint code KRU for example will have a few different variations, lighter shade, darker shade, purer shade.
Take the car with and get them to match it with a swatch Smile

Take a sample of the colour you want, like the grill, they'll march the bits to that.
