I found a lot of posts on the vibration from these.

Today i dropped the exhaust and welded the manifold whislt in place.
Picture of the access

i arc welded along the joins and a couple of spots to the side.

Doesn't make a sound anymore Smile

Its a 30min job, unless you fall out with the lamba's and the daft connection from the manifold the dowpipe. It took a couple of hours in the end.

Now onto the servo.

will it be a bit dangerous to do the welding while the manifold is still on the car?

No, not as hot as exhaust gasses. Absolutely fine.

I didn't even bother disconnecting battery.

i am more worry about the current might "cook" the ecu and bsi.

but anyway it sounds fine to you and i guess it does save a lot of time and work to do it in your way.
