As some of you know I bought a new car today. Went and saw her today, test drove her and everything.
Then I saw the keys, they were different.
One was similar to my current keys but the electric one was really funny like stupidly zig zaggy. I did ask and he said oh never noticed it before, didnt check them both but the electric one does open the car, and start her up.
Would it just mean she has had new locks or something?

The ones without the buttons are the emergency ones if you lose the main key. They won't activate the alarm, they will just start and unlock the car

Will I still be able to open the door with that key though?
Or will I have to get others cut?
As the electric key is just as I have drawn it, just prickly.

Well thats handy to know lol. As long as it works aswell at the other one its okay.
Just how exactly do I tell someone I bought a new car... Apart from saying oh hey I got a new car. I kinda have to do it so he doesnt go mad.
Quote - 'Cars are not cheap, they are very expensive to run, they are not toys to be messed around with. Once you have one it will not be easy to sell, even harder to find a decent one to buy. Just dont bother with a bigger engine till you need one!!'
And he did buy me my LOOK, so dont want to upset him by saying I got a better one, seeing as I have only had it since July.

Its not slow really, quite nippy on the 149miles journey to southampton then took it slower back as I was aching, took 3 hours to get there, then 4 hours back, just wanted the quiksilver theme as I am quite surfery anyway.

If you tried both keys in the ignition & locks you'd know if they worked or not.
