Yo again.

Spamtacular tonight.

So I was going to do the brake lines last night.

I ordered the following: cgi.ebay.co.uk/Goodrid...2c59256235

I have 4 hoses in the kit. 3 different sizes! what the hell?

I imagine I need just the 2 long ones for the front, and I don't touch the back. But what are the other 2 random different size ones for? I don't get eet Very Happy (Why can't someone just prep my car for me in exchange for beer / and I race the thing! )

Cheers. Sorry if it's an obvious question. But if there's a fitting guide anywhere could I have it? I searched - and failed in that quest.

Dave.

Dave Waving o/

There's a fitting guide [installation instructions] on the back of the pack (assuming it's a genuine Goodridge box) - although it doesn't give a rundown of tools required, etc.

Hey Ant!

Hmm. Dave threw the pack away when there was nothing inside it, without thinking to look at the back.
Whoopsie!

So any idea about a guide, or maybe a scan of the back of the pack?

What a Berk! lol..

Dave

Cheers mate. Not exactly rocket science then...

But heh so no explanation of the random 2 other differing length hoses which is a bit dissapointing. I also am fairly sure there weren't any washers with the kit. Guess I can get some though.

Hmmm.

Hmmm.

I suspect the rear hoses are generic, due to unequal lengths. I am sure that when Kyle did my brake hoses they too were unequal.
Don't worry about it Laughing

No, mine didn't have washers either [nor the set I've got for the 205]

That's what I did with mine. The other alternative is to lower the rear axle to give better access.

The rear hoses are supposed to be different lengths. The brake pipes end in different places so the hoses need to be different lengths. I had to send mine back as one of them was too short.
