For some reason my w reg 206 1.1 8v revs by itself and i cant control it and the only way i get it to stop is by cutting the engine. Does anybody know what could be wrong and how i could solve it??
Cheers!

How much does it rev by?
Your best bet is to get someone with Peugeot Planet to come over to you and read your ECU for fault codes, then post the code(s) back here to find out whats going on

Most likely the idle control valve failing. But a fault read with Peugeot Planet will point you in the right direction.

Not sure what kind of accelerator pedal your car has, conventional cable or fly by wire but my 1.4 Hdi has the fly by wire and it used to do this with the management light coming on too. It was a faulty pedal.
