hi ecu fixed but failed because radiator fan not working cant test emision any idea please car still in garage trying fix the problem.also air con fan is not working please help.

mot should have tomorow problem was the fan relay was melted so if someones fan on radiator not workin check relays.

My radiator fan isn't even wired up and it passed.... I don't understand why it would fail otherwise.

they cannot fail it on a fan not working its not in the test

As above, rad fan has nothing to do with an mot test. The only concern of the tester is that the engine is at full working temp when the emissions are tested.

that makes no sence "because temp mot fail" if you want help you are going to have to write in proper english and explain a bit more. i think what the others are trying to say is that the engine needs to be upto standard heat levels to test emmisions, the fan doesnt stop the engine getting cold so it will still be able to get upto the right temp even with the fan not working, sounds like its sorted now anyway so good luck
