Did you also try all the way around the windscreen? t1mmys suggestion seems the closest after you have ruled everything else out
Is there any chance it could have got in through the roof and dripped through the reading light?

When I read the post I went and checked, def not the windscreen. And the roof is as dry as a biscuit. Checked around the light fitting too.

sit in the car and get someone to hose it and see where iit leaks? probably not the best idea in this weather mind!

defo worth using a dehumidifier if it happens again. Jus plug in n leave for a few hours
