hey all, I want to purchase and fit some angel eye headlights to my 2001 pre-plexed 206 (1.4 LX)

ive read the guide to fitting them on here:
www.206info.co.uk/Foru.../t=25.html

and also the huge amount of warnings here:
www.body-kit.co.uk/pdf...hooter.pdf

from what i can gather to remove the headlight you have to remove the front grill. then its as simple as a few screws.

ive found some online (see link below) but am not sure what some things in their description mean.

www.autoartltd.co.uk/p...rrentpage=

What does this mean:
" Two sets of wiring harnesses are provided, so lights can fit models with single or twin reflector OE headlights."

also what does this mean:

"This is a replacement lamp for cars with twin reflector headlights & indicator bulbholders with 4 locating lugs (not 3). "

thankyou in advance. I dont want to end up buying the wrong ones and not being able to fit them correctly because they are expensive Razz

Please Dont take any of my posts as written fact. They are simply my opinion and although to the best of my knowledge true, the information within them may well be incorrect.

Any work you undertake as a result of my posts is done so at your own risk Smile

Means you get both the H4 & H7 connectors I think, (Frosted and Crystal OEM light connections)

But from that it sounds like there to replace Crystals and not Frosted - So for Mux'd 206's

its kinda confusing isnt it, because the title lists them as (98 - 02)

they have a different set for (02 - 05)

see here: www.autoartltd.co.uk/p...egory_id=1

Yeah just a tad contradictory, they say they supply H4 & H7 harnesses but they're only a replacement for H7's? :/ would say your safe if you have crystals like ste said but if you have the frosted ones I'd get in contact before you buy

Just go by the date they advise mate Smile and you should be fine Thumb Up

If not it's their problem for advising the wrong date and they'd need to replace them for you Smile

Yeah but that would be their error then and they should pay for the postage.

The only thing to do is for you to take a picture of the front end so we know what you have Smile

After re-reading it a few times **Slowwwwwwwwwly** It's abit clearer, the advertisement is confusing however; the 4lugs bit is refairing to the indicator holder..

On Phase1 headlights the indictor holder has 4 'lugs' to hold it into the light unit, whereas on Phase2 headlights there is only 3 lugs on the bulb holder for the indicator Smile - Hopefully that'll clear things up..

If you want to double check pop outside and remove the indicator bulb holder and have a look how many lugs it has to hold it into place..
