my pug 206 1.1 failed its MOT on the emissions and they a pin pointed it down to one of the injectors stayin open for to long. if i was to replace one of the injectors would that be ok or would u need to replace all 4?

very strange, good diagnosis and strange it was only picked up at MOT.

but if that is the fault it should cure it as that would screw up the fuelling and also emissions but make sure they are certain before fitting new parts

you would be ok with fitting 1 but while they are accessible maybe do the lot, your call really

do you have the sheet which says it failed emission as that will tell you how much it failed by and in what department i cant see how they can say an injector is staying on to long as it would be very hard to tell and a garage wouldnt do it on an mot 9/10 a car fails emmision because of a leaky exhaust joint !
