A few plugs under the carpet in my XSi (2005 54 Plate).

I was running all the new speaker cable through the car and when I lifted up the carpet I found these;

Small Black Plug was attached to the loom along the sill and the green and white plugs were attached to the area by the front right seat mounting point.

Now the passenger side has no white plug...

What are these plugs for..?

Wild Guess...seat airbags..? If they are what do I need to get these activated..? I've got a set of full leather front seats so I can fit those and already have a airbag control unit from a car with seat airbags so what else do I need and how hard is it to fit..?

Thanks

This is one for me as i've retrofitted side airbags to my multiplexed 206

Black plug is for the sill sensor.

Green plug is for the seat airbag.

White plug is for the seatbelt warning light.

Fit the 2 x sill sensors ( one each side ) & you need an unfired airbag ecu from a multiplexed 206 with seat airbags.

Plug it all together & hey presto Cool

Wicked thanks for that mate.

Yeh I've got an unfired airbag ecu from a m'plex 206 with seat airbags.

Is it just the drivers side that has the seatbelt warning light..? or do both have them (as the passengers side doesn't have it)..?

Also I take it I'll need a pair of m'plex sill sensors..?

The sill sensors are fitted on a lot of different Peugeot / Citroen stuff with side airbags.

I know the Saxo use's the same part number, it's a look through Service Boxs & see which ones it is.

Peugeot / Citroen part number is 8216 H3 Sensor £46.58 each

Have a look down in the gap where them plugs are & you will see a small threaded stud & also a hole on the side of the sill under the loom, the sill sensor fits on to those & is secured with a little M6 nut, front seats have to come out as there a pain to get to with the seat it.

The seatbelt warning light is only on the drivers side & needs the buckle with the sensor fitting & the BSI configuration set up tweaking to get it to work.
