Still pretty new to this website, although I must admit I do find myself losing whole sections of my day reading thread after thread.
Just bumped into great thread by gti180boy - Click here
Just wondering if there's anyone a little closer to home that offer a similar service.
It's great to have someone who's actually interested in the car itself rather than just wanting to overcharge people.
I've had my 206 180GTi for a few months now, and yes it drinks, yes its expensive to run, but boy is it fun to drive.
My reason for this thread is that now mines for 40k miles, i know that within another 10k Im going to need the Cambelt and water pump doing. And i'd rather have someone of the like of gti180boy than some snotty nosed school leaver working in the local PUG garage perform the honours.
Plus, Im pretty sure my breaks are on their way out as well as needing an MOT in Feb. Damn car! lol
** EDIT ** Just noticed how general the world "SOUTH" was... lol
In the Essex area, Romford / Hornchurch

KrisB is in Horsham, I'm not sure if he'd have the tools to do a Cambelt on a 180 tho.

Thanks for the speedy replies guys. Thought it was only me up at this time on a Wednesday night.
Horshams a fair bit away for me. In fact, its right near where I travelled to get this car. Only went to see it, but when I saw it, got the card out, phone call to Admiral and up the road I go an hour later lol

krisb be is very good but in all honest if he hasnt got the tools then he wont be able to do it
as the 180 has a floating crank the thing is hard to time up and if is not timed up correctly it will damage you engine costing £££££ just ask kyle he has rebuilt a few now due to other garages not doing the job proply
ask anyone on here he is worth travling to as you know he will do it and its also a day out

Im from just outside London, well kinda still in. "Greater London" But I'd call it Essex.
3 hour drive up to Stafford, probably do the journey for the Cam belt in all honesty. My mate (Drake on here) lives up near Nottingham so that sounds like a road trip in the making.
