I was planning on getting a new coolant reservoir for my 206....before Christmas Servicebox was saying a new one was £34.80. It's now increased to £48.52!

Question is, are the parts prices increasing for non service items as they are costing Peugeot more to manufacture for non-production items? Will we increasingly see the parts that are less usual to replace getting more expensive???

Wheel nuts are smaller on the 207 aren't they? One has gone missing on the CC.

Tax/VAT has gone up, fuel price has gone up, fuel duty has gone up and oil price has gone up.

You have to think there's a long process in making each part, and if every company that involved prices have gone up, so will the final customer facing price Wink

That doesn't justify a near £14 increase. Which is quite a bit considering its original price.

They don't have to justify anything unfourtunetly. & as long as people keep buying they can keep putting their prices up, it's called profiteering.

Exactly, hence the thread was started. Anything reasonable is, well reasonable. £14 increases on a £35 item is not reasonable. I'll be asking for a discount that's for sure. and I'll be buying less stuff as a result!
