These all came to me when putting my sub in today. Firstly How do I remove the gromet on the firewall just under that big tube of wires? I found a nut on the inside under the glovebox is that it?

Also coming from the tube in the engine bay was a small plug that didn't go anywhere. no idea what that is. is it important?

Aparently I need a wire from the radio to 'remote' on the amp to tell it when to turn on. I don't have this. By rights shouldn't the amp be on all the time if connected direct to the battery?

I know they are not all strictly in the right section but its better than making 3 different posts.

Cant answer all them, but I know the remote lead is important as if your amps on all the time, it will drain your battery.

The remote lead shuts the amp off when there's no ignition.
