Hi please help..
i have a peugeot 206 1.4 petrol.
i discovered a slight cranking noise from the front left wheel and 2 weeks ago, and it has gradually got louder.
the noise only occurs when turning to the right and at a low speed of around 5-10mph.
also sometimes the wheel feels harder to turn when mobile (asif the power steering isnt working)
Please help..

Do you mean creaking?

Could be the CV joint on the driveshaft.

Yeah that will most likely be the problem then. Well I'd put money on it being the problem Wink

Don't replace the whole driveshaft, just get a new CV joint. Should be around the £50 mark to replace.
