If in doubt, drop a cog and put your foot down Smile

just trying to make sense here, is the axle fitted to a car at the moment??

because in my experience it makes no difference as the bearings are inside it, to be honest i'd rather do it on the car then ride etc can be sorted easier because you will have checked the height before disassembly Smile

no, looking for a disc axle atm, once i got it i will replace all the bearing and bushes before i put the axle on.

and i will have to swap the anti-roll bar, torsion bar and dampers as well Laughing

right ok so you want to do bearings before you put new axle on yeah?

as i said might easier putting it on first because if the arms are tight to off it could be pain Smile

Bearing puller if you intend to do them rather than ask local garage just to press in and out and a large sledge hammer if axle siezed other than that you should be ok
